Fresk-O Oaxaca Cheese

Addictively stringy and subtly salty, Oaxaca (wa-ha-ka) is the kind of cheese you need in your life. Made with cow’s milk in a similar method to mozzarella, the curds are stretched into long ropes then wound into balls, giving the cheese its unique look.

Perfect straight out of the package, you can also use it in quesadillas, queso fundido or any melty cheese dish, really. Made in Canada by Latin Foods Inc., it has a mellow, slightly buttery flavour similar to Monterey Jack but with a semi-soft texture that makes it really really hard to resist.
